Jessie and Elizabeth Barbee
Buried near Jessie and Elizabeth is Henry A. Barbee (1857-1926). Please send me his memorial number and I will post the grave marker photo. Henry's plot information is Vale of Memory, Lot 714, Space 1. Thanks

Bill and Elizabeth Barbee
You are welcome for the marker photos of Bill and Elizabeth Barbee. The surface of the markers, especially Elizabeth, were stained to make the names somewhat difficult to read. That is why I increased the color intensity of the marker photo for Elizabeth to make it readable. I was not able this time to have them look up John Barbee, but will hopefully be able to get a photo by November 8th. (John's marker was not near Bill and Elizabeth's marker.) Leon

RE: Barbee
Shelly,

No matter what the photo request page says, I will get the photos for you as soon as you get the info and I can get there:) (unless someone else "claims" it and GETS it right away for you:)

I've had people get CLOSE family member headstone photos for me I know the importance:)

I sent an email to everyone who has a photo request for Fairhaven and Westminster, I only received one response:( I will 'unclaim' the requests due to lack of cooperation of the Cemetery, they want to hear ONLY from family members. PLEASE, contact the Cemetery and get the location (Plot, Lot, and Space. DOB DOD Name) and I am more than happy to help:) I am so sorry, I really hate to cancel, I tried to fill the requests.

RE: Thanks!
Shelly: I really don't know, I don't recall seeing the name (Kim) in the immediate area where Ik Joon Kim is buried. As you are aware, Kim is a very (did I mention very) common name. If you know the names of other members of the family, you might try checking the Diamond Head Memorial Park on-line Plot Locator. The Plot Locator is very precise and, on the ground, the sections are clearly marked. However, it becomes a challenge from there on in because the more detailed markings, leading to a specific grave, have been greatly scarred by time and motorized grass cutting machines. dbk.

RE: now I see
Well, Evergreen is stil independently owned is is a pretty small time operation, it usually takes a impetus from someone in the administration to to go through the files and add those lists to a searchable database, Evergreen doesn't even have a website. Many cemeteries particularly now with big companies are listing all of there interments and putting them on the website on a searchable database. It usually takes a group of crazy gravers like myself to photograph a cemetery this size. Many of the stones are actually buried because this place was a mecca for the auto industry so often times folks just sent the money home and when they died they were just put into a single grave with no other family to bury them or care for their graves. I always try to uncover surrounding stones in hopes that a relative will find them online. So that's it in a nutshell. If you think more of your folks are here go ahead and call the office, they can give you a fax #, and as long as you are not in too much hurry they will get back to you. I am going off line until Spring, I am glad you enjoy the photos, you are free to use them as you wish, you have my permission.....Dom

RE: Burials at Evergreen
O.k. photo are in, transferring (read the FAQ section) is something you as a relative can ask for, it helps because if you are like me, I work on my memorials slowly, it gives you the freedom to add whenever you want and to link relatives.....if you need any help let me know....When you created the memorials for Louis and Harold you actually created duplicates.....you should probably delete the duplicate memorials.
