|My husband likes long walks, but I need to be motivated. Walking in the local cemeteries and taking a few photos is our plan. Some of the memorials I've entered are my own family, but others will just be to share.|
I will gladly transfer any memorial I have created that is not direct family. Please use the "Edit" tab on the memorial and send a "Suggest a correction".

Thanks, I added will information to Elizabeth's site. The only EH Clark that I know of for sure in Dade County, is Corp Elijah H Clark, born 1832, in Rice Cemetery. I think I will write him in as a possible spouse on her site.

Hi. I just added photos to the memorials for
Budvar Olafson and
Ragnhildur Thoroddsdottir Olafson
in Winnipeg's Brookside Cemetery.
I seem to recall that you were interested in this gravestone, but the memorials that used to exist for them were deleted. I think that deletion happened because the original spreadsheets that were uploaded a few years ago had lots of mistakes, and then a year or so later these uploaded spreadsheets were completely deleted, however some memorials with photos ended up being deleted as well. That whole mess happened before I joined Find a Grave, but I heard about it afterwards.

I can't believe John Gilliland was one of my sites! I wrote a pretty good biography for him too. I was looking for him in Greene County, MO. I'm glad you found him right under my nose!

There is already a site for Elizabeth Jones Holder and one for Moses. I requested added info and a link to her father.
I have not been able to find a burial site for Elizabeth Leeper... maybe some day.
Thanks again for the information you sent!

Thanks again for more information. I no longer believe the Elizabeth at Turkey Creek is correct. I changed her site and put burial as unknown for now. My information on Jesse came from some Kirby online information. He has a cousin Jesse Kirby, also buried at Rice Cemetery who died when Melville (Dadeville) was burned during the Civil War and some sources thought both Jesses died the same day. I changed that also.
The E.H. Clark is interesting. My Gr-gr-gr Aunt AnnaLiza B Morris Clark was married to Edgar Clark who died in 1895 and they share a tombstone. It makes me wonder if they had divorced and it could be him.
I also have a Elijah H Clark in Rice Cemetery, but he doesn't show up on Census records after 1860.
I welcome any more information you discover on Elizabeth. I'll check the cemetery book on Williamson Cemetery where her parents are buried when I get to the library, hopefully soon.

I believe I used the MO Death Certificates and/or the cemetery book for Elizabeth. I will have to do some double checking after learning of the marriage to Mr. Gilliland. What I have may not be correct.

|Pat Allan||RE: Vernons in Moose Nose/Sunnyside cem.|
I remembered to check transcription book (reading done c1995) & the only Vernon listings are the 2 stones I photographed, Annie & Harold. If there are others in that plot, they're unmarked.
|Pat Allan||RE: Annie Vernon #96820074|
I've not done any research beyond checking the transcription book to get site # & map so I could take photos. If I were you I'd post her obit & other info in her 'bio' & edit her birth based on what you found. I'll try to remember to check the book when I go tomorrow to volunteer ... previously I only looked for Annie & wasn't aware of others till I saw plot in cemetery. The surname headstone & 2 footstones which I photographed were all I noticed. (There are many very old stones in that graveyard which are totally unreadable though.) It's a large graveyard, but no sign at entrance ... drove by it at first as stones are over a hill & none visible from road.
