RE: Jacob J Bennick
Hi Curt,
Thank you for the information. I have transferred both Mr. and Mrs. Bennick to you. They are not family to us and perhaps you have more information to add?

RE: Thank you
Glad to help. When I am in the area I enjoy helping family members and fellow genealogist. Jim

RE: Anah J. Gregory

Hi, now that spring is here and the weather is finally starting to act a bit nicer, I will try and get out and get more pictures. The grass is greening up too, so that may add to nicer pictures.
Now, I have to re-fresh myself on the pics you still want taken.
I now have had over 200 requests for pictures!

When my new computer crashed, all my F A G pictures were on that hard drive, that I had not backed up. The tech did not think he was going to be able to get my pictures, info etc. off of the hard drive. Finally he did. Phew.

My guess is Mother also. The records show her as "Mrs. Catherine Wintercast" "Age 60". I wish there was a gravestone for her. I'll check. She is buried in what "was" once known as Fowler Public Lot #3. During the 1878 epidemic there were so many people to bury they started dug three mass graves on a long, narrow strip of land that held Fowler Public Lots 3,4 & 5. We now just know this area a "No Man's Land". There have been no burials in the area since 1878. There are a 'few' stones covering the years prior to the epidemic, but they are far and few between and mostly in rough shape. I'll look for her. We might get lucky.

RE: George Wintercast
I checked the cemetery records and as usual came up with more questions than answers. The Catherine Wintercast buried in Elmwood died in 1870 at the age of 60. This would have put her birth date around 1810. Was she possibly Geo. Wintercast's Grandmother? I found no record for his mother, Catherine Morris. The records for the 1878 Yellow Fever epidemic are generally quite accurate, so don't know where she might be. I did find Mr. J.B. Morris. He has a Find A Grave Memorial. Actually he's buried in the same section, and not far from Mr. Wintercast.
