|John Merrill||Virginia Akin memorial|
I have been out of town for a few days and am just now getting to my emails. I have transferred this memorial to Robert Akin as I read his request first and do hope you can work with him on it. I am always happy to transfer memorials to family members.

I have added a bio to the memorial of Robert S. Akin. Let me know if you want anything changed, please.
As noted to you in my email, I will relinquish this memorial back to you at any time you wish.
Thanks for trusting me with it.

The obituary states she died on July 3, 1902 and was born in 1839.....is this person realated to you and how do you know the date of her death? I will be glad to make any changes as long as we know that are correct....please read the obituary and be sure it is the same person and then get back with me and we will make any changes if they need to be made.

Thank you...I actually just met 3 cousins from the 'Marley' clan at the Leatherwood reunion in Jacksboro in July. I found one of them on Find A Grave and invited her and she had made contact with another and he and his brother made it to the reunion also.
Hello, got the links for this memorial but am more interested in your 'Marley' name. I have distant 'Marley' relatives in the Crosbyton (Lubbock) area of west Texas and also in Jack County nw of DFW. My gr-gr grandfather, John More Leatherwood's daughter, Mary Josephine 'Leatherwood' Marley was married to Elisha Smith Marley and their children lived in the both Jack and Crosby County. Josephine and Elisha are buried in Plainview Cemetery in Dawson County. Her memorial # is 17992017 if you care to check it out. I take it that it is probably your husband that would be related but wanted to give you a shout. thanks!

Hello and welcome to Find A Grave. I hope I can be of some help to you but I think you need to learn a few tricks of the trade. I'm always willing to do transfers or add info to a memorial but there is a series of steps you need to follow in order to make this happen quick and accurate. First, when you send a correction, any changes/additions you want should be for that person and that person only. I can only link parents and spouses, not children. The system just isn't set up that way. You need to contact the memorial manager for Laura Narcissus Reed Stanphill #10590301 to have her linked to her parents. If this is clear as mud, let me know and I'll do my best to guide you through this. Thanks.
