I find a walk through a cemetery serene and a respectful way to pay tribute to those who have come before us. Reading names of strangers and wondering about their lives is my way of recognizing that they once lived and had a story to tell.

My home is Wisconsin, but now for work I move every 3 months to a new city and stay there for 3 months at a time. Where ever I go I try to fulfill needed photo requests and work on documenting cemeteries hoping to connect families to their history.

I am a member of D.A.R. and appreciate ancestry.

Allouez Catholic Cemetery And Chapel Mausoleum

I search a record of my great-great grandfather, John J. Kelleher B 1845 D 1929 and His wife Margaret Kelleher b 1844 D 1903.

You took a shot of the Gravestone. I wonder who had requested for to take a photo of the grave site?

I would like to reach whoever request this photo that you took for your client or customer.

Is there anyway for me reach out to this customer or client?

Thank you
John Brennan

RE: George Edward Page
I have a cousin out in Oregon that is writing a book of the Page Family.
Also, I can remember back in the 1990's that we visited a member of the Page Family who had a huge album of the history of the Page Family & I can still remember him telling us that there was a ongoing (battle of wits), court battle in London, England where the Page Family were battling the British legal system & the monarchy in that the Page Family insists they owned a fair portion of the city of London.

Up in Naubinway, Mich., George Page doesn't have a gravestone but it would be nice if someone would photograph a piece of bare ground near where a few of his children lay buried & insert it into his memorial in Find A Grave.
George has 2 granddaughters that we know of (both are deceased); one up by or near Manistique, MI & the other out in Chinook, Montana.

RE: George Edward Page
Is there anything that I can help you with, pertaining to George & Mary Page?

Were you aware of that George must have had a terrible argument with George & Thomas Page because George later changed his last name to Paige.
Do you have knowledge of George & Mary's descendants (where all of their grandchildren & great grandchildren)?

My grandfather Conrad Daniel Grovogel - Mary is his sister..
So, are you then a cousin of mine?

RE: George Edward Page
Have you found anymore info on George Edward Page/Paige?

He was married to my great Aunt Mary (Grovogel) Page.

Re Memorial #35961178
Hello...I'm writing to ask your permission to use the picture of the headstone you've added to the memorial page for John Smithers, (memorial #35961178). I'd like to use it for my personal family tree, as well as the tree I have posted on John Smithers is in my husband's family tree.
Thank you for your consideration...

Elizabeth Todd oops too
I think you may have put the wrong photo in Henry's wife's memorial as well #7566396...or just use the link in his account to get to hers to see if you think I'm correct...

Henry Todd oops

I think you may have loaded one of your photos into the wrong Memorial.

You put the photo for Henry Todd Reynolds into the Memorial for Henry Todd #7566401

I have since loaded a couple of photos into Henry Todd Reynolds and Henry if you'd like to simply delete your photo there are no worries about trying to save it to repost.

Up to you...

RE: Your photos
That's it! It's time for me to buy an iphone!
Here I was thinking you had a fancy camera and were possibly even enhancing your photos to get the great shots that you do....

The first time I saw one of my relative's grave markers, I remember wishing that I could "walk around it" and see different angles and who was buried next to them, etc. So I keep that in mind when I'm taking the pictures...just trying to give the family members different perspectives on their loved one's final resting place.

Your photos
Every once in a while, when I am adding photos of markers here in Delaware, I come across photos that you have uploaded. I have to tell you that I think your work is spectacular! You make markers jump out. They are clear and easily readable. You put the ones I take with my little Canon to shame. Thanks so much for your attention to detail and some wonderful pictures taken here in DE!
