I was born and raised in Rincon Valley /Santa Rosa CA, After high school and some college I joined the Army and was stationed in Alaska in the Arctic Light Infantry, 5th Battalion 9TH Infantry Regiment MANCHU/ 6th Infantry Division and was a Mortar gunner. I shot on the US Army Pistol team and took first place in the Army in 1989 at Ft Rich. I am a direct descendant of William the Conqueror/ Rollo Duke of Normandy. I moved to Burney in 2008. I could keep bragging about how awesome I am and how I broke every record in the Army but I wont, I prefer to be modest. |
The optimist proclaims we live in the best of all possible worlds, and the pessimist fears this is true.

|Dennis Peterson||RE: Ann Vernon Parents info /edit for you|
Thanks for parents info for Ann Vernon. I added it to her memorial (89600449). She is also linked to her husband Griffith Garwood (memorial #68935412). Note that your Griffith Garwood memorial(100768757) is a duplicate of 68935412.
Sincerely, Dennis Peterson

Thank you so much for the photo !
|Linda McGahan||RE: Artie Heffley|
Thank so much.
I just posted the photo's of Artie the girls gave me. You can take a look if you wish.
So folks get up tight about their pic's so I always ask first. I take and post pic's for folks to enjoy and share. I don't want them sold but other than that they are to be used as needed.
No need to email the stone shot. I can get it pretty easy.
Thanks for all you do for researchers on find a grave, and I hope your kindness is rewarded back a million times, as you do your own research.
Need something from Greenwood, Arkansas area give me a holler!

Thanks you so much for the picture of Artie's stone.
If you don't mind can I copy it and send it to her two elderly sister's who live in Little Rock, Ar.? Neither of them at their age will be able to view it here, and I know it will meet the world to them to see it and how well kept it is.

On the photo you left on the Packer site, I believe you will find that the third man from the left is Pharis Packer - when compared with a photo I have here and the woman next to him is his wife, Ella Shaw Packer.

I need a little more to go on pls.
|Fred Mattox||RE: Lydia Garwood|
I am sorry but I have nothing on the Garwood side of your family. All I have is what was in find a grave and pretty much the same for Lydia except I have info on her family, the Robert's and how they are connected to the Jefferis
|Bill Stephens||RE: Grave marker Griffith Garwood|
there are several Garwoods. You can see for yourself by doing a cemetery search, requesting Valencia in Kansas then once the cemetery comes up you type 'garwood' in the last name field.
Actually, the memorial you entered had already been entered by another volunteer. They had quite a bit of biographical information on him.
Here is the result of the name search I described
Garwood, Abraham Vernon "Abe" 22664402
b. Jun. 6, 1837 d. Feb. 23, 1923 Valencia Cemetery
Garwood, George 22664112
b. 1883 d. 1908 Valencia Cemetery
Garwood, Griffith 100768757
b. Apr. 25, 1804 d. 1897 Valencia Cemetery
Garwood, Griffith 68935412
b. Apr. 25, 1804 d. May 24, 1898 Valencia Cemetery
Garwood, Sarah A. Tidrick 22664428
b. Mar. 3, 1840 d. Jun. 11, 1922 Valencia Cemetery
Garwood, Vernon Alvin 22664036

Good Luck! I look forward to hearing from you!
