No, I am not related to the Stafford Family, and would be happy to transfer into your care. I believe family should be with family!

For each memorial you would like to have transferred, please use the edit tab in the upper right hand corner of each memorial for your request. That way, it will take me directly to the memorial, without errors.

I will then let you make the links and add the info.

transfer of memorial
I do not usually answer these that request a transfer of a person that does not have a mention of who that person was to the one wanting the transfer. You simply asked for Susan Caldwell. I am not a person that sticks to exact rules and do not mind transferring out of guide lines. I do ask when requesting to tell me how the person is related and if not related why you want the person transferred to your care. I hate not to help a person that is related as I do believe that family should have the care of the memorial. Please re-send with a relationship or reason. Thx.

RE: Tull Family - Ivy Hill
Hi Kay,
I'm a direct descendent of the Tull's (maternal side). Are you a relative?

There are two plots at Ivy Hill that I am aware of and have visited/photographed (I live 30 mins driving distance from Ivy Hill). The older of the two is the family of Francis Daniel Tull (1803-1887) and Hester E Jones (1803-1891). They would be my 3rd GGrandparents. The plot (which is actually 4 plots) includes their children and grandchildren.

The second plot is the family of Earnest Bertram Tull (1879-1948), son of Levi Scott Tull (1838-1908; Levi was a son of Francis Daniel Tull mentioned above).

Earnest had two wives, Maybella Mae Peil (1883-1931), with whom he had 5 children, and Bernice E Foster, with whom he had 3 children, one of whom was my grandfather; Harry B. Tull (1934-2010).

The Tull's in your message, I'm not familiar with and they don't appear in my family tree. I am sure there is some relation, given the name and burial location, however I find it hard to trace the family past James Tull b.1706 (my 6th GGrandfather) and cannot find any of his siblings in census records to expand forward to less distant generations. My thought is the Tull's you mention break-off from that lineage somewhere.

If you're on Ancestry, my tree is open to the public and contains quite a bit of research including original photos/documentation. Search the surname "Kaechelin" and you should be able to find it.

If you need any additional information, please let me know.

Thanks!

Eric

RE: Just a thankyou note...
Kay,

sorry to be so long in answering you. We don't live in the area of this cemetery. We were there finding some of our family.

I will be happy to help, but in looking at the cemetery there weren't any more Sutherland's buried there that are listed on Find A Grave.

RE: George Soule
It is a small world. I am descended through George's daughter, Susanna and her husband, Francis West. I can scan some information I have in a family history book that was published in 1972 and email the pages to you. Welcome to the family, cousin. Red
