Hello. You are very welcome. Wiley B. Hudson is my Great Great Grandfather. My mother had the photo in her album. She may have more. I will have to check. If so, I will send them to you.

You're more than welcome. It's a pleasure to be able to help people.

If the link below doesn't take you to the cemetery index, type "Tulare County Cemetery Index" in your search window and hit ‘enter.' The Tulare Co. Cemetery Index provided by California Gen Web will be among the first two or three hits. Sadly, the index covers every cemetery I'm aware of except the Tulare District Cemetery.

California Gen Web also provides a fairly complete obituary index for Tulare Co. Again, if the following link doesn't take you there, search "Tulare County Obituary Index."

If there is someone you are looking for, even if you're unsure whether the person is buried in Tulare, message me their name(s) and I'll check with the cemetery. I go there at least twice a week, so it's no problem.

Take care and best wishes.

The message you received from Find A Grave was from me. The cemetery has a record of Wava's burial, but sadly her grave is unmarked. I had that confirmed by a cemetery groundsman. The office manager told me that Wava's sister handled the arrangements. If you know how to contact her, perhaps she can shed some light on the absence of a marker for Wava.

Sorry this didn't turn out well for you. I never like having to inform family when a grave of a loved one does not have a memorial stone. I know the first woman who attempted to fulfill your previous photo request and she is very thorough, but I thought it wd help if another person confirmed her fingings.

I can take a photo of where Wava is buried if you like; however, there isn't a stone.

Wava Moore

I noticed that your photo request for Wava Moore has been reported as a non-existing headstone, and yet I've read the funeral notice that you posted to her memorial. I'm both confused and intrigued. I'm going to examine cemetery records one day this week and I would like to know if you are aware of anything about Wava that may help me.
The funeral notice mentioned ‘graveside services', but could she have been cremated and placed in the cemetery's ossuary? Or is there a possibility that she was buried under a different surname? I'll know after examining records, but at the moment I'm wondering if she may have been buried in the same plot as another relative and an identifying memorial plaque was never added to the existing headstone. Do you know whether she had family in the area? Could there have been a previously deceased parent or sibling also buried in the Tulare Cemetery with whom she have been interred? If so, do you know their names? Don't fret if you don't know the answers to my questions. The grave registry will have her burial record, but there may not be a headstone.
I should have some news for you within a couple of days.
