My husband and I were in Indiana, PA over the July 4th weekend for my family reunion. We stopped by Oakland Cemetery to visit some of my relatives and took some pictures of the Baletine plot. I fulfilled some of your requests. I posted an overall photo of the plot on Alexander's memorial. -Regards, Karolyn.

You're very Welcome Bonnie ! I am fast finding that almost everyone in South Bend Cem. is related to me, so I'm sure we are cousins as well!! I have George & his father Solomon in my tree. And I have a lot of King's too - I just haven't figured out which Mary is George's Mary yet cause Mary is a popular name. Do you know who Mary's parents names were? I have another silly question, are you Chuck King's daughter?
|Calmly Searching||Wilda Rogers|
My daughter and I went through the entire Devotion section of the cemetery and were unable to locate Wilda's grave.
My suggestion is for you to please call the office at 727-849-9281. Tell the receptionist that you need to speak to someone who can look up the location of your loved one, and get back to you when they locate Wilda.
Once you have the info, please leave a message on my contributor page so I will be able to go back and look again. This is a huge cemetery with many many sections that at times I suppose overlap.
Sorry for the delay.

You are welcome. If you'd like another photo in spring or summer (when the snow is gone), let me know.

I couldn't make out the name or dates on the other marker. I'll go back and see if I can decipher it.
