 | Rosa Lee Howard Give me some more information... was she ever married? If so where?Added by Kathy S on Feb 18, 2013 8:02 PM | | | Kathy S
 | REPLY: Rosa Howard There are over 2000 unmarked burials in the Citizens Cemetery....she Might be there. I can check our local historian center to see if there are any burial records. Do you have a death certificate or know who handled the burial??Added by Kathy S on Feb 18, 2013 7:56 PM | | | Kathy S
 | Rosa Howard I searched and there is a Citizens Cemetery in Flagstaff AZ - you might want to contact them. Here is the link: http://www.flagstaff.az.gov/index.aspx?nid=185Added by Kathy S on Feb 16, 2013 3:09 PM | | | Kathy S
 | Rosa Howard The following link would be informational to you with a list of names of people buried there... http://www.yavapai.us/ycc/citizens-cemetery/
Rosa is NOT buried in this cemetery. Her date of death is 1949 and the cemetery quit burials in 1933. Also see that she passed in Flagstaff, AZ not Prescott area.... will search for cemetery names up there for you.

 | Rosa Hi,
I spend the afternoon at Citizens Cemetary in Prescott today looking for several gravestones. I unfortunately did not find Rosa's. However, I did find a marker that was worn completely smooth but someone (a long time ago obviously) etched Rosa in on the front of the stone. There is a "D" below the name. Would Rosa have a middle name that started with a D by chance? It was centered so didnt look like a last name. I took a picture of it if you would like me to send it to you I would be happy to.
Unfortunately, there are so many headstones that are completely unreadable the stones are broke or the markers are faded beyond recognition as the cemetary was for so long unkept. | | |
