Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have lived in Avoyelles parish all my life. My maternal (Aymond family) and my paternal (Bordelon family) grandparents were all born and raised in Avoyelles parish, as were both of my parents.

I became interested in genealogy from watching my maternal grandmother research & document our family history. She spent much time organizing our family records and since her death, I have kept her genealogy books and continue to update and add our new family members to them. I enjoy helping others preserve their family genealogy so I try to fulfil photo requests in nearby cemeteries whenever possible.

Please feel free to share, copy, or print any of my pictures for your personal use or for your family records.

RE: Edith Irion
You're welcome for the death notice. Thanks for posting it. I am happy to have added to her memory, but I wish it were for happier circumstances.

Minnie Cole # 49861335
Noticed your message on Minnie Cole and wondered if you knew if she is the granddaughter of Abraham Cole and Mary 'Polly' Bilbo? I noticed that her dad is Ralph Solomon Cole, but the census record shows Ralph L Cole. Wondering if these people are of the same family?

Thanks, Cheza

Minnie Cole obit
Thank you for the what appears to be the obituary for Mary "Minnie" Cole (Find A Grave# 49861864). I have added it to her memorial. So any idea what the numbers "1860.62" on the tombstone represent?

John Ewell
Than you for the information. May I ask if you are related to this John Ewell? Ther are slight differences in the birth and death dates. This John's father was also John, thus I made him John, Jr. You John and my husband's great grandfather (Philip Kennerley Ewell) were brothers. Considerable research has been done on this family. John and Mary had 14 children (one born after he died. Where did your information originate. I have worked closely with the Ewell Family Historical Society and want to be certain before I make any changes.

Thank you for the obituary. I have added it to his information. I omitted the word "difflieted" because there is no such word, and I can't figure out what was meant. Do you think I should include it followed by [sic]?
