Native Oregonian, former box office manager at the Oregon Cabaret Theatre, with husband and greyhounds I retired on the Oregon coast. I enjoy reading good books, working in the garden, and researching my family tree on ancestry.com. Family names of interest: Haraden, Hildebrandt, Rottluff, Gray, Starbuck. My current research mystery: when did an ancestral Haraden (1770 or earlier) emigrate to the US? As a healthy distraction from spending too much time on Pinterest & Facebook, I have become a photo volunteer for Find a Grave. Also, Find a Grave volunteers have kindly provided photos and other information at my behest, and I'm very grateful.|

You're welcome. My partner did some research last night on the Arthur Howe that we found in the same section of the cemetery (but a different plot) and, on the basis of what she found, I changed the wording in the caption to reflect the fact that it seems quite unlikely that there is any relationship (at least as direct as siblings) between him and Wm H Howe.

As I was going back one last time through the photos, I also realized that this link may be of interest to you:
The oldest Rottluff monuments are quite weathered and hard to read. Perhaps they record the deaths of Anna and the three infants. There are some sad stories from those long-ago days!
