I have had a lot of edits in the past 24 hrs. Are you researching or updating the Richland County Cemetery listing from Mr. Thompson's site?

Emma Hegge in Bowman, ND, cemetery

I have fulfilled your photo request for Martinus Hegge. His wife, Emma, is indeed beside him.

I also took a photo of her marker.

Best wishes,
High Plains :)

Harriet Thayer
Hi Erica, thank you for the notification regarding a duplicate memorial for Harriet, however, I do believe that her original memorial is a cenotaph only (since it's located in MN) and I will keep the burial location listed that I created. I do check for existing memorials before I enter them, so I'm thinking that someone created a memorial without knowing where she was actually buried and then found my memorial. Hard to say for sure tho. Regards, Nadeen

Could you tell me where you got the info to delete the parents. I was sent the parent link a few weeks back by another member of Find A Grave. Not sure who is correct? Thanks Erica!

Re: Virgil Clarence Jacobson
What you have sent me, looks like Dave Thompson's work on his website Richland County Cemeteries. I have collaborated with Dave many times to give additional information & corrections to his website. Virgil is the son of Victor & Alma, 1920 & 1930 census confirm this fact. Andrew & Martha (Hill) Jacobson son Virgil M Jacobson was born in 1924 while Virgil C Jacobson was born in 1911. Andrew & Martha (Hill) Jacobson, as well as Virgil M. Jacobson are buried in Readstown Cemetery. I will have to contact him to correct this mistake.

Re: Leonard Thomas Elliott
This is my Great Uncle. The other memorial was created as a unknown burial location with incorrect information. When I sent her a request to remove her duplicate, she just fixed her cemetery location and some of the incorrect information. Norma Faller is one of those people who has added their entire genealogy file to find-a-grave without doing any search for already existing memorials. Thank you for your interest in this matter, but I refuse to remove my more accurate memorial of my beloved Great Uncle Leo.

Re: Charles Cutler
If you would notice that the other memorial is in a unknown burial location, while I did my homework & have mine in the proper cemetery. Findagrave rules would make mine supercede the other, contributors who find transcriptions & check the cemetery before adding a memorial is good work, adding memorials without knowing burial location is not. I will now make a snapshot of my memorial & the other so there is prove if this person happens to find my memorial & then changes their memorial to Viola cemetery. I have deleted many memorials which I know there was not a memorial before. Some people prey on others work. It really doesn't bother me, but it is more courteous to delete your unknown burial & request a transfer. I do appreciate you letting me know, but I will not delete my memorial, it is more accurate based on burial location. Deleting the memorial another findagraver might come along and re-add it, you suppose to check the cemetery before adding, you should'nt have to look for a burial unknown. I also want to note that I appreciate all you additions & corrections, you are a very good findagraver who strives for the most complete & accurate information available. There are many who do sloppy work like the burial unknowns. We all have a few of these but do not have many. The few I have if I find their burial location I change it or if a memorial has been made delete mine & request transfer or send a sac with information. Findagrave is meant as a resource not private family trees. Keep up the good work. Have a great day!
