I just wanted to send you a great big thank you for posting the photograph of our family members headstone. We have several family members who are buried abroad in different countries, and probably will not get the opportunity to go there ourselves. Having a picture, certainly gives people a way to "visit" the grave and pay respects. Thank you so much.. Merci Beaucoup :) and God Bless You.

Thanks for the info on managing a grave which I will gladly do. I am very new to this site but find it very satisfying to add graves of my family members. The war memorieial I am finding is very sad but lovely for myself and family to be able to put them to rest.
I notice you are from MN. My best friend lives in Duluth and I have visited them a few times but always in the summer months.!!!
Thank you once again for your help.
Very best wishes
Ivy Carter née Steele

Many thanks Steve for the photo of Francis Steeles headstone in France. 2 of my sisters have visited his memorial over the years and I hope to go next year.
Francis was my cousin who sadly died 6 weeks after landing in France.
I was just 1 year old when he died but my parents often spoke of him with love and affection.
Thanks for grabbing the photo requests, those two are right near my grandfather and for some reason I had not grabbed them before. I will be at the cemetery in a couple of weeks and it looks like I am in store for some foggy mornings.
