City Cemetery location
Hello there -
I would like to ask you if Citty Cemetery is anywhere near Anderson Cemetery which is in Springhill, Hempstead county. I am trying to find some unmarked burials told to me recently by my 93 year old uncle. Thanks very much.

Saint Paul Methodist Church Cemetery
Thank you for the photo of the marker for B Hemp Irvin but could you please turn the picture so viewing would be correct? I've had this happen before and is this something going on with the Find A Grave web site?
Anyway, thanks for the picture.

Hi, there!

So your great grandfather was my great great grandmother's older brother - is that correct?

Noel Gallatin Neal was older brother to Heskie Alabama Neal. Heskie married Emory Seals Brown and had my great grandfather, amongst others, George Morris Brown.

George Morris Brown married Agnes Elizabeth Murray and those are my grandmother, Vadah Elizabeth Brown's, parents!

HOW COOL TO MEE YOU!!! :) :) :)

I love meeting new family! I don't know if I can help any, but I'll be happy to! All these branches are fairly new to me. My grandmother passed in '79 (I was 15), and she was probably the link that could've helped me with my research. I still miss her. She was a shining example of humankind. Haven't met but, possibly, one person that was like her, since.

The furthest I have back in time is to Dr. Charles Anderson Brown - and THAT was a struggle. His name was in my Granny's bible. I found him buried in St. Paul Methodist Cemetery in Ozan, Hempstead, Arkansas, USA. I can't seem to find anything about his parents. I know he was born in Georgia - or at least believe this - have not been able to confirm anymore... :(

I go back to the 1700s in the Neal family - a large part I'm still confirming, though.

Do you have any information on the McElroy clan? ...and, would you happen to know Heskie McElroy's middle name? :)

HOW AWESOME! :) SO pleased to meet YOU!!

Let me know if I may help. I'll be happy to share whatever I have!

Just wanted to say Thank You for your contributions to Find-A-Grave!

You are a distant relative of mine through the Neal Family. I believe your a descendant of Lucy Alabama Neal Citty....

But, I just wanted to say THANK YOU and HI! :)

Question about access to Citty Cemetery
Thank you again for the photographs of the gravestones of Andrew Wallace and Mary Jane Fontaine Wallace in Citty Cemetery. I was always told this cemetery is on private land. Is there someone I could contact about getting access to the cemetery so that I could view these gravestones the next time I visit the area?

Thank you!
Thank you so much for adding the photograph of my great great grandfather Andrew Wallace's gravestone. I appreciate it very much! I was not aware that he even had a gravestone. We knew he was buried on private property, but I had assumed the grave was unmarked. Thank you again!
