|Will Parr||RE: the Willis family|
Yes I've accomplished quite an amount of new information on Nicole Ashworth's family that included the Willis family on an extended family line. I've been very busy keeping up with demands of reality life out here that's why I've been online much less than usually. Hope all's well with you! :-)
|Cindy (Seifert) Cooper Abelson||Infant Perrin|
I post a Picture of where Infant Perrin is at. There is a Temp Stone and you can not read it. I had the Cemetery help me with it. Sorry.
|B.J. Nelson||John Perrin|
I tried to get in touch with the cemetery today but did not receive an answer. He has no marker but there is a family marker that I will post. I just want to be sure that he is buried there. The Longmont Genealogy Society often enters people who are not buried in the cemetery. If the he owns that spot they just assume he's buried there.
Thank you for the photo of William Bell's gravestone!

It was the last two of 45 I found that day..I was tired and hot and hungry and was driving out when a grave caught my eye, and on my walk towards that grave, I found the father and son Trahans...I am always honored to be able to help out

|Will Parr||RE: the Willis family|
I am currently engaged to Nicole Ashworth, and I was working heavily on her family ancestry and found a link through her ancestors' wives (Mericle) families that were related to the Willis families in Louisiana. The Ashworth family migrated to Louisiana from SC in 1800's along with Mericles and Dials families to escape "persecution" by the Americans for their part in the American Revolution War (Nicole's ancestor was a British captain who married a Choctaw Indian who was from Louisiana reservation), and a Rev. Joseph P. Willis (1824-1880) at the head of the Willis family is maternal grandfather of husband of 1st cousin 3x removed of Nicole's. Joseph's daughter, Mary Elizabeth Willis married Simeon M. Mericle Jr. Their son, Joseph "Joe" Henry Mericle married Allie Benita Ashworth, who is Nicole's 1st cousin 3x removed (1878-1974)
What I am doing is gathering a collection of photos of their portraits, grave pictures, and so forth. If you or the Willis family wish to contact me you can do so via email at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will be happy to send an invitation to view my Ancestry.com family tree of Nicole Ashworth that I am still working on to refine it, and merge duplicates while collecting pictures and stories, etc.
Thank you for contacting me.
|Betty Atkinson||RE: Marry Cobb|
Ah, so you did extra work also.. I think it looks pretty decent actually. Mary was married to William Fletcher Cobb, son of Humphrey C Cobb and Harriet unknown... this line shows up in DeSoto Co, MS and around Memphis, TN. Humphrey and his brothers were mostly from SC.... and we have not been able to connect them to an immigrant at this point... which leads me to believe that we'd have to have a Cobb male from this line participate in the DNA project in order to figure it out.
How are you related? And you can also contact me offline at email@example.com
Thanks for all you do.
|Betty Atkinson||Thank YOU!!|
This is so great and kind that you personally took the time to photograph and then post this photo.... it will be helpful to all her descendants as they do their own research.. Thanks so very much!
