RE: Johnson Cemetery
I'm glad to see a map now for this cemetery.
I have started to add names/photos.

I go by this cemetery quite often so I will keep an eye on it to see if it is cleaned.

About 15-10 years ago, when they had first cleaned up the area, a few graves were visible. It is just impossible to get in there now the trees have grown so thick and tall. It needs a good cleaning again. There are several cemeteries up here in the same condition .
The rain has had a lot of acid in it and many stones are just breaking up. Baker Cemetery is another real bad one and there are 6 Revolutionary Vets there.

I went to the Bowdish Cemetery- it is totally overgrown with pine trees. The only thing visible is the DAR marker by the road. Sorry.

Hi Dan, No problem. I love doing it. I have found so many ancestors that were lost on Find A Grave thanks to all the wonderful people who do the work in making it happen. I am glad to do my itty bitty part. It was a small cemetery. Less than 50 so I took the time to take pictures of all and uploaded them to the FindAGrave site. It was such a beautiful day to take pictures. The cemetery does not have a marker and does not have a picture of the cemetery. It is not far from here so I plan on going back to take another picture. Also found a Domitilla Molloy that was marked daughter next to the Molloy graves. A lot of the graves were not listed in Find A Grave. Today it went from 29 internments to almost 50. Happy ancestor hunting. Mary

No problem- Yes I live right near Bowen Rd. You're right- it does go right past the property where the cemetery is. The cemetery is on Wright Rd. but it's very close to Bowen.

You're welcome. It's just minutes from my house, so it was a no brainer to photograph it. The man who lives at the property didn't want me to touch any of the tombstones or lift up the toppled ones to make them photographable. I'm not really sure why. I'm glad your ancestor was one of the readable ones!
