RE: Danger Nick
Jo, the Combs line is my specialty. Nicholas "Danger Nick" Combs has been determined to be the son of John Combs and Nancy Harding. John was born in 1837 so Nick couldn't of been, and the fact he didn't die until 1859, he would of been 122 years old. This was a big debate for a long time whether or not he was brothers with John or one of John's eight sons, and after much research by the Combs website he has been determined a son of Johns. I myself descend from his brother Mason "Mace" Combs. it's nice to meet another relative, if you ever need any help, email me at I have pretty much done all the descendants of the 8 brothers as far as I have been able to.

RE: Combs dates
Which grave are you referring to? I got your message but it doesn't source the person in error. Thanks-Rick

Catherine Faulkner
I saw your comment in the flower/note part. I have James Trent in my private family tree. Based on the information I have, James died prior to 1850, and his wife, Catherine, is listed as a widow, living with George Trent, wife Lydia (Long) and their daughters, Sarah, Catherine, and Mary.

The public family trees show Catherine Faulkner. I am curious why you thought this is Catherine Longabaugh (spell?). Please contact me at
