RE: George Millen
Glad to help. I was in Savannah over the weekend. I have some additional photos of the grave and grave site. I'd be happy to send them to you if you provide an email address.

RE: Shaw
You're welcome. I added Collie's wife Myrtle and their daughter Virgie Mae because they were not already listed in the Cannon Cemetery. And because I'm not related, I'd be happy to transfer them to you. I hope you noticed the photos may be expanded with a click to make them more easily read.

RE: Nathaniel and Hezekiah Hall
Jody, years ago there were many of these types of HALL markers at Sand Springs. Am thankful I took a few pictures of them, showing they were used! They marked graves for sure! Better than nothing for sure. I too, wish we could go together if nothing else and get some kind for all of them that we know of that are buried there with no headstone existing!
Blessings always,

Elisha Bethea
I have amended Elisha's memorial to mention the 3 children not associated with the memorial. Although I am not a direct descendant of Elisha, my g-g-g-grandmother, Margaret Bethea Finklea, was his sister. Her place of burial is unknown, although it is likely she is buried in Dothan Church Cemetery. If you are Elisha's direct descendant, I will be happy to transfer the memorial to you.

RE: Sarah Manning Bethea
You're welcome. That particular grave is very grown over with underbrush, so I apologize that the picture isn't better. MKS

RE: Edmund Byne Walker
I do know a lot about the Walkers in Morgan County. My wife is a Walker. Let me know if you have other questions.

RE: Edmund Byne Walker
Edmund Byne Walker (1796-1880) was the son of John Walker. His burial is not recorded in Findagrave, but I believe he is buried in a family plot on his estate near the Little River on the Monticello Road.
Edmund Byne Walker (1887-1954) is probably the one you are referring to. He is his grandson. He is buried in the Madison Historic Cemeteries and his grave is recorded in Findagrave.

Emily "Dicy" Bowen
I can not find any documentation on the name Emily Dicy Bowen. In the 1850 census, it shows her name is Dicy Bownen, not Emily Dicy Bowen. I think that Dicy Bowen Etheridge died in childbirth. This is assumed, just like Emily Dicy Bowen. If any one has any documentation on Dicy Bowen being named Emily, please send it to me.

I found Mary Jane Etheridge, (Kilerease ?) Death Certificate, Her parents are shown as: Joel Etheridge and Dicy Bowen. Mary Jane is buried in Ebenezer cemetery, Where Benjamin and Anna Rice are buried.

I hope this helps. Bobby

RE: The two Emilys
One other thing. Mary Jane Killcrease who was Joel and Dicy's daughter. is buried in Ebenezer Cemetery. She was born in July 1853 and died in 1922. There is a headstone there. I bet she is close to her Mother's grave. I live about 10 miles from the cemetery. I will take a look soon. Take care Bobby
