Thompsons in Beeson Cemetery
Thank you very much for all the photos you took at Beeson Cemetery. I haven't had time to go over each one yet because I'm on jury duty this week; however, I did notice a lot of my extended family members that are in my family book. Photo 97 is not my Elizabeth. Elizabeth Beeson Thompson was born in 1813 and died about 1886. Her husband was John W. F. Thompson. He died in 1894 in Smith County. Do you plan on adding all the tombstones you found to findagrave? If not, I will add the Thompson family members. Let me know. Again, thank you.

Beeson Cemetery
Thank you so much for the photos of the Thompsons at Beason Cemetery. Please switch the photos because each photo is on the other one's memorial. Also, did you happen to record the date of death of Mattie? The flowers are covering the date in the picture, and I did not have that information. I really appreciate your offer to go back to look for all Thompson tombstones. The one I am really interested in is the one for Elizabeth Beeson Thompson, Thomas Ransom Thompson's grandmother. His wife Mattie was also a Beason. I believe Elizabeth may be buried in that cemetery. She was from Beason Mill, Alabama. I visited Beason Cemetery in Beason Mill last week and took photos of all the Beasons/Beesons there. Apparently, it was quite common for members of the same family to spell it either Beason or Beeson. I am descended from this family. I noticed on your member page that your wife is also a Beason. Is she descended from the Alabama Beasons? If so, we may be distant cousins. It would be great if you could also find any other Beesons/Beasons in that cemetery that aren't already on findagrave. If your wife is descended from the Alabama Beesons/Beasons, I will be glad to share the family information I have uncovered. Thanks again, Linda Richards
