Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love to learn about my family history and how far my line goes back in history. It also is fun to see if any of my ancestors were royalty, or held an honorable place in history.
-------------------------------------------
Side Note:
I only take photos during the spring and summer months, I believe during these months it is better to read and see the grave stone inscriptions.
-------------------------------------------
My two main Surnames include HAWLEY and BANCROFT.

Here are some of the names of the main branches of my tree up until the fourth generation.

Allen, Anstead, Averill, Bateman, Berthold, Bishop, Camp, Conway, Conover, Crover, Damstadter, Fehl, Gragg, Hale, Hall, Hendryx, Heintz, Hise, Hoskyns, King, Koch, Kohlborn, Larkin, Luss,Martin, Merlau, McIvor, Miller, O'Toole, Parsons, Poringer, Reid, Robbins, Sillaway, Strockenfeldt, Templeton, Wagner, Whitney, Zimmerman, and Zittel.
-------------------------------------------
Wow and that's just up to the forth generation, and my tree online at Ancestry.com goes up until at least the eight generations for most of my branches....lol, oh what fun I am having!

A photo of Beverly Harris' tombstone
Hi. I want to take this moment to thank you so much for taking time and photo of my first cousin's tombstone. It's pretty. So what was the location of it when you enter that cemetery's entrance? Again, thank you. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Cheers, Peter

RE: Memorial #71322074
I added the picture of the old house as my bio pic (I didn't have one anyway!). The picture was taken by Robert Howard when he was visiting Edward Larkin just prior to Edward passing. Bob Howard is a gg grandson of John Edward Larkin, Phebe Malinda's older brother (full brother - his mom was Anne Camp). Tap on pic to enlargen it.

are you or your Grandma interested in Larkin info. The house Phebe grew up in still stands, the farm only left the family upon Edward Larkin's death (Phebe youngest brothers son) in 1969. A young couple bought it and renovated - it is on Nice Rd in Newstead. If you look up William Dewitt Larkin and Martha Larkin Curtis you will see photos of both of them. They are Phebe younger half siblings. As you probably know Anne (Anner) Camp died and Joshua remarried Angeline Johnson. Together they had 10 more children. Joshua, Anne, Angeline and the children that died in infancy are buried at Ledgewood Cemetery on Main St in Newstead. Do you have this info? If not are interested in this info or more of it. I do have a photocopy of a letter Phebe sent to one of her nephews - shall I email you the contents? If you have not guessed I am a Larkin. I do have a couple of old photos of the old homestead let me know if your like me to send them to you.

RE: Memorial #71322074
No - not that I know of. St Peter and Paul is a small cemetery near my home. A few relations of my husbands family are at rest there but Hannah Cook is not a relation of mine (that I know of). While I went to the cemetery at different times I attempted to recorded all family member groups during the same visit - Hannah had no husband near her (that I could see) or I would have noted it. My recording of the entire cemetery is not complete but as it is relatively close to my home I will look for a specific person at the cemetery if you have a name. Do not believe Hannah to be a relative?? St. Peter & Paul is a Catholic cemetery (St.Peter & Paul Church in Williamsville)on another note - Do you have any correspondances from your GGG Grandmother Malinda to other members of the family? Have you ever seen your the home your GGG Grandmother grew up in?? Is your information on Phebe Malinda Larkin's family complete or is there anything I can assist you with??

Transfers
I see that you are relatively new to Find A Grave, and that you've been requesting transfers using notes to the owners. In the future, you may want to consider using the Edit feature in the memorial, which will make it easier for you and for the person from whom you are requesting the favor. Click the Edit tab in the upper right corner of the memorial, and then click Suggest a Correction. This will create an email message to the memorial owner so you can write your message. It will also provide a link to the memorial so the owner can easily find it, and provide your Find A Grave ID# so the person can easily transfer the memorial.

Hope this helps.

RE: Transfer grave memorial correction
Hi,
I sent the 2 memorials to you but when I checked on them this morning they indicate that Find a
Grave is maintaining them. I was sure I did it
correctly. You may have to ask Find a Grave
to transfer them to you now. Sorry.
