Bio and Links
Bio Photo Have been interested in genealogy for many years; have been fortunate to have researchers on both sides of the family for my parents, and both sides of the family for my husband's parents. Many gaps were filled in before I even attempted to do any research myself! Principal surnames interested in are: Cayard, Nolan, Bullard, Decker, Hendrix, McClung, Bounds, Goryl, Wisniewski. Many of my roots are in the Deep South, with the most recent ones concentrated in Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana. However, cousins have been discovered on both coasts and points in between... so I rule nothing out! I especially like going on cemetery hunts when possible, and take great satisfaction in finding markers for relatives or as a volunteer photographer for requests published on this website. Happy hunting!

Hi Connie,

I got your message about the Cayards. Since you mentioned you hadn't been able to find the first wife I thought I'd give it a go and see if I could find out anything. I found marriage with Albert F Cayard in St Mary's Parish to Lydia E Green 25 Sep 1890. There is then a record for Albert F Cayard also in St Mary's Parish to Cecile Lydia Landry 1 Oct 1895. Since he was still in St. Mary's parish when he married Cecile I would guess the first wife and children died in St. Mary's parish as well so you may want to look there. You may already know all that but I thought I'd share just in case :) I didn't find a death record on the la sec of state website but it's hit or miss before 1900.

RE: William Ziegel photo
You're welcome. Have you put in a request for his wife's? I took a pic of her headstone, too.

Hendrix Family
I linked JD, Arabella and the sons together and also added gravestone photos of each. Buried not too far away from the Hendrix family is Eunice Bullard and added a gravestone photo for her as well.

You may help yourself to the photos. We have a link to a webpage from a memorial. So far it's been accepted.

Yes any info on Madison County citizens is always appreciated.
