John J. Koci Gravestone
Hi Harry --

I can't thank you enough for taking the photo of John Koci's gravestone! I was able to find out his story from the Jefferson Historical Society's on line database and it is certainly sad. He had just gotten married in May, 1918 and then went off to the Great War. He must have developed pneumonia during the Transatlantic crossing, because he evidently died on or around the day they arrived at Cherbourg, France on 10/17/1918. His body didn't arrive home until 01/01/1921.

Thank you again for honoring this veteran.

Mary Beth
