I can't remove the child's reference because someone else added it and linked to mine.

RE: Transfer Memorial
Joel,
If you want all of the Talladega County Rogers then it will take some time. I'll have to work on this gradually.

RE: Rogers family

Hello Joel,
I am related to the Rogers family line through, Jesse Elmer Rogers and his wife Victoria Layfield Rogers. They are my great grandparents and lived in, Taylor County,Georgia.

I make it a rule of mine that every memorial that I look at,I leave a flower or token.

Do you have a Rogers family link?

Moses Dison
I have found Moses on the 1900 census in Carter Co, TN, with Louie Dison, a widowed female. The census says he was born in Jun 1890. He next is on the 1910 census in Stark Co, IL working as a Hired Man and syas he is 20. Once again I agree he is not the son of Wm T and Ollie Dison but another Wm Dison and Lou Smith Dison.

Disons
I agree with you that Moses is NOT the son of William Tipton Dison and Ollie Norred. I find Wm T with Olive in Clay Co, AL on the 1880 census, then he is still in Clay Co on the 1900 census but I believe widowed. In the 1910, 1920 and 1930 censuses he is still in Clay Co but now married to Otilia. I see on the 1900 census Wm has a son born in Jun 1892 called, it looks like, Jeffson. Then in 1910 the son is called Jeferson. It looks like Wm T never lived outside of Alabama and all of his children were born in Alabama.

Thomas Jeff Dison
I find that he was born in Alabama on 27 Jun 1892. He was living in Louisiana in 1942 where he registered for the draft. He died in Louisiana on 15 Oct 1967.
