Bio and Links
I am currently a stay at home mom for the first time in my life since 2009 when I was laid off from Sprint. I am intrigued and excited in researching information about my genealogy.

I get to spend time with my grnadkids now who are currently 7 and 4 both boys. I have 3 sons current ages of 30, 22, and 14.

I am wanting to learn how to crochet, sew, and start redecorating my house although with only one income, that might take more time. I also like to put my green thumb to work on a new triple braided hibiscus plant I got a few months ago. It is absolutely beautiful. So far so good...

I have been traveling and was unable to answer your message. I have transferred the memorials and the new manager will add photos if she desires. Thank you for letting me know about the cemetery's rules.

RE: Appreciation for your hard work
Hi Carol
do you have any suggestions on where I would start researching Gertie May McVay Custer's information?
Started looking for records for Gertrude May McVey & was able to track dn a few things, taken me about 8 hrs...
not sure why the children were not living w/their father in 1900 & I could not find a census w/them in 1900. We got lucky that her father had a obit
How'd I find that? Well I went looking for McVay's in Henry Co on Find A Grave...found James & Annie.
Looked up their MO dc then went on Anc.com to see it there were any family trees. There are some but they are not well done/complete
anyway once I figured out that her last name was McVey (mispelled on marriage cert, hum go figure) I again looked for them on Find A Grave in Henry Co & realized that Joseph was James's father checked him out & found the obit :)
Having Annie's obit I knew Sarah's maiden name (also on Nora & Clerence's)
Sorry I could not get any father back w/Sarah -- I have some idea's so email me & I'll tell you what I would do

Find A Grave Memorial #92042055 -- I sent her a request that she transfer him to you. Once that is done you can connect him to his parents. You need to add the information to the bio & remove it from the 'flowers'. You can have flowers just not suppose to put info in there

Any other Memorials you want info added or transfered go to the edit tab click on the 1st line 'Suggest a correction or provide additional information' explain what you are wanting & why. Always leave your id #, yes it is included but it makes things simpler

Now I will transfer your family - you will see that I have Andrew connected w/his brothers in his bio

Thank you for joining & contacting me
