Thanks for the wonderful photos
My brother and I plan a trip to see this gravesite. We are descendents of William Carroll, Sr., then John Carroll, then Malinda Carroll... We would like to see their final resting place and the photo of it will be very helpful!

Thank you so much!

Carroll / Haskins
Thanks for all the great detail on the Carroll family of Burns in Allegany County, NY. I am a descendant of Hila Haskins, a sister of the 3 Haskins sisters who married the 3 Carroll brothers.

Rachel Friedman & Forest Home Cemetery
Hi! You created a memorial for her and added a photo request for her back in 2013. I am wondering if she is buried at Forest Home Cemetery at all.

I checked the original burial records for the cemetery in March and April 1910, but I could not find her listed in the burials for either month (nor for Waldheim German Cemetery which is now part of Forest Home Cemetery).

The Illinois Deaths and Stillbirths Index only states that she is buried in Forest Park (not Forest Home), Illinois. There are three other major cemeteries in Forest Park: Concordia, Waldheim Jewish, and Woodlawn Cemeteries. Could she actually be buried at one of these?

I hope you will contact these cemeteries to determine where she is actually buried.

Enos Wright
Hello-- FYI: Just to the left of Mr. Wright's marker is a marker for Myrtle S Wright Dempsey (1905-1988). Not sure if any relation. Barb

RE: Any relation to Idarius?

Hi, No relation. I have the Idarius' tree on Ancestry, you can pick up info from there. No Saxon in it.

Misspelling on the name wasn't my error. I wish I could change this but it's now under the control of Find A Grave.
I had a famous grave for Dudley "Mush" Morton of the Wahoo but the Find A Grave staff made it non-famous as he couldn't be famous as he didn't meet the Find A Grave criteria for famous!

Benjamin A. Evans
You have a memorial for Benjamin A. Evans, buried at Evergreen in El Paso, Illinois. Do you know if he was a veteran?
