My husband Jim and I celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary in 2012. We have three sons, two daughters-in-law, three granddaughters and one grandson.|
I am a retired and have been doing Genealogy since 2002 which is odd since I never enjoyed anything to do with history while in school.
My main regret is never attaining sufficient information about my family until they were nearly gone.
My parents were Lyle Edward Carson and Josephine Fern Teague-Prussing Carson Buge.
My paternal grandparents were Edward Thomas Carson (Walnut, Crawford, Kansas) and Viola Mary Johnson Carson (Pearland, Galveston, Texas).
My maternal grandparents were Henry Grady Teague (Whittier, Swain, North Carolina) and Opal Irene Hickman Teague Zellhart (Emporia, Lyon, Kansas).

Not a problem. Glad to help. Your cousin Jim Carson & his wife Norma who own the cemetery were neighbors and good friends to my grandparents, John & Helen (Muir) Romine and my mom used to babysit their kids. I am also (on my own, not here at work) researching the local casualties of the Civil War, including John Carson jr.
I also just received another inquiry about this graveyard from a gentleman in Oklahoma!

Thank you for your message. I am sorry but I prefer to keep the memorials for Edward and Lora since my wife is their descendant. We have been researching these families since 1978 and have LOTS of info on them which we enjoy sharing. I will send you our e-mail and would love to hear from you. Wayne Foster 47372726

They are home now.
|Connie Kappelman McKean||RE: Transfer request|
transfers are much easier if you use the edit button of the Find A Grave ...
you may need to look for the bigger flowers also
see if you can go to this site or just put anything like flowers gif and you can down load them from there to your computer and then add to your file on the find a grave
|RobMinteer57||your great uncle|
Will be glad to transfer--just give me his name and burial location or memorial number...

Sandy, it did not go so well and am going to have it redone. Thank you for asking.
