I have a Master's degree in Historic Preservation and possess a fascination with cemeteries in particular. Documentation and archival research are my specialties, along photography, in which I have a Bachelor's degree.|

I have taken pictures of 80% (over 8,000 pictures) of GAR. I started with the newest internments and am working to the oldest. What is left is the original Cemetery on the Southern End and Addition #1 and Addition #2. Additions 3 thru 9 have been photographed and uploaded to Find a Grave. Wilma must be in Addition #2.
I plan on taking the rest of the pictures at GAR in the next month or two.

Yes, I think you're right. Unfortunately the stones are too old- some are just broken pieces. some where laid down on the ground without any visable writing.

I went out to Edmunds-Stanyan cemetery today. I found two graves next to each other- a Hannah and a Samuel but the last name appears to be Edmund. Could Hannash have marriedn Samuel Edmund. I cannot find any other Hannahs or Samuels that would match. Could be that these two are just not documented for this cemetery, but it is very small. The old Edmund farmhouse was right next door. I cannot read most of the stones due to the age of it. I did take a picture but didn't post because I was not sure.
