|I have been working with my grandpa to go through and organize multiple family documents. As such, we've been making more connections, only to come across even more unknown information. My grandpa is especially interested in finding out what happened to descendents of his father's siblings. In general, cemetery records and pictures have been a great way to find people, and I appreciate everyone that contributes to this site.|
If anyone has any pictures that are of better quality or show the gravestones better, feel free to add them. I haven't always been around the cemeteries at a good time of day for lighting and preventing shadows. I figure that a gravestone with a shadow across gives more credibility to the information than nothing at all.
Feel free to contact me with any questions or requests for a non-compressed picture. As a college student, I can't promise prompt responses but will make an effort to get back to you.

I own the property that the Bakkes used to own. I have talked to John's granddaughter, Elsie Rosendahl, about the family. She advised me John and Martha had six children-she listed them as Marie, Henry, Idelia, Percy, Aaker, and Milo. She said Percy and Aaker died quite early, probably from pneumonia. I see Percy listed but not Aaker. Not my family but just passing on her information that was told to me.

Hi Melissa - Can I ask you a favor please? You kindly posted a nice headstone photo to one of my memorials for Mae V. Hansen, but I found out today that my memorial was a duplicate. I don't want to lose your photo though so would you mind adding your photo to the other memorial for Mae Viola Hansen - 92162826. The one I created (that your photo is currently at is - 131548769. Thank you and sorry for any inconvenience! : )

Hi- Marlene Nelson was buried next to Vernon. I added a memorial page for her and posted photos of her gravestone. If you would like, I am happy to transfer the site to your care.

Thank you so much for the photo!

Thank you so much for taking the time and going to the trouble of adding my relative, Belinda Tollefsdatter Schjeldahl, to the Find A Grave site. It means a lot to be able to see pictures corresponding to the information. Dennis Schjeldahl added a picture of Brynhild's husband, Eric, to his site. I love being able to put a face to the name as well as putting a picture to the grave site.
Thanks again....your efforts are truly appreciated. Have a great weekend!!

Transfer is complete, happy to help. God Bless
|James Odland||Andrew Spilde|
Thank you for adding the picture of Andrew' footstone onto his memorial page.
May I have you add the same picture onto Edna Spilde' memorial page also? Edna' memorial page # is: (#21068001).

I tried to transfer memorial to you but received error message. Will try again tomorrow. Please verify the added information on memorial.

We were in the Hesper cemetery last weekend and took a number of pictures there as well as GPS readings. Since you had already put in photos, I didn't know whether to add my photos for the graves of:
Mary and Ove Aasum
Melvin and Grant Aasum
Bennie and Thora Aasum
The creator of the Find A Grave memorials suggested that because the color quality of my photos was better, that I should post them anyway. If this bothers you, let me know and I will be quite comfortable in removing mine. Or if you would like to retake yours and repost, I'm happy with that too. I definitely don't want to step on any toes here. Just let me know. - Connie
