Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been working on my husband's and my own family's genealogy for almost two years. I maintain multiple family trees on ancestry.com. Because I like to include burial information (and photos if possible) in my trees, I understand the importance of an effort like "find a grave." I hope to become a frequent and effective contributor. I strongly believe that keeping the memory of our relatives alive is a valuable and very worthwhile undertaking.

RE: Selinga Family
Sorry for not getting back to you. Been sick. Talking with my father and others Steve is buried in the ole cemetery downtown with his 2nd wife Mary. unfortunately, my cousins are not very helpful.

Thank you for getting this one. I remember being up on Kelton road. Uncles house was the second one from the corner on the right going up the hill.

The neighbours were great people around there. The Cormiers were down at the fork. I remember the first house on the corner was a trailer. the next house on the left was a Vietnam Vet - WOW I just remembered his name Les Taylor I believe.

Many memories of picking acorns, walnuts and blueberries. Plenty of blueberries on the hill.

Henry Pfeiffer
Hi Barbara,
Hope all is well. I just wanted to let you know that the photo I posted of Henry Pfeiffer is not legible....but I have the cemetery maps and this is definitely where he is buried...along with other family members.
I will create a couple memorials of 2 other Pfeiffers. Take care, Gwyn

Selinga Family
Good day Barbara

Thank you for getting the marker for me from Saint Denis Cemetary.

I thought - Uncle Steve was also buried with her but it does not look like it. Something is admist in the family and I will have to ask around to see what comes of it. In the meanwhile, Thank You for finding Auntie for me. I currently live in Alberta and do not get home to Quebec where both Theresa and I were born. She is my mothers sister.

Find a grave is an excellent tool for connections and geneology. Thank you for your time and effort - it went a long way this time.

RE: Albin Cameron Information
Barb,

I don't recall seeing four families on one monument before so I created the Ancestry tree so I could sort out the family connections. Lottie M. (Fowler) Cameron, Lillie D. (Fowler) Laffin and Albert H. Fowler (the only name on the Fletcher side of the monument) are siblings and Roy Lang is Lillie's son from her first marriage. Further, Lillie's daughter from her first marriage married her second husband's brother, both whom are buried in the lot. You can see the relationships in the Ancestry tree by looking at the tree in family view. As no Fletchers are listed on the monument, I'm not sure what the Fletcher-Fowler connction is.

RE: Albin Cameron Information
Barbara,

I'm glad I was able to help. The gravestone made for the most interesting question of how everyone was related and I'm glad I was able to determine all the relationships.
