Bio and Links
Bio Photo I began to access Find a Grave while I was researching little-known family members and others. I found it a very good tool for confirming data that had been accessed elsewhere. More recently, I determined that linking members of my family together provided a seamless pathway for those in other parts of the nation who might be seeking information on the Texas clan. This is a valuable resource.

RE: Litane Landers
Hi again, I sent Latain her cousin Babe's picture I found but I never heard back. I included a note also. That was before Christmas. Any idea if she got them?
Thanks

RE: Helen Ray McHaney
Hi Patricia
The large frame house with the big porch,Aunt
Aiice's,is still there on the Judson Road north
of the Longview Mall. Not sure whether the
grandchildren still own it.
That must be your grandmother in the picture
with Ms McHaney.
Just wanted to point out that the memorial
created by Jimmy in 2009 is a duplicate of one
by M in 2001.

Helen's maiden name is Ray and McGuire is her
second husband. My great aunt is Alice Ray.
Ms. McHaney was my junior high teacher.
a duplicate record was created in 2009.

You are having problems finding Lionel's first wife because the first name is misspelled. She was my great-aunt, my grandmother's sister, and her maiden name was Ouida Winifred Albright. She married Lionel and they had a son who died. They divorced soon after, I believe. She married my great-uncle, William Earl Eberling and lived in Houston until her death in 1984. I hope this helps a bit. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Please check to see if the information I added for Vernell and Perry is correct. I also had a photo. I am trying to add them for Greenwood as I have time. I would be glad to link Wilfred, if you know the information.

RE: Litane Landers
Hi Patricia, It was wonderful hearing from you!!! Thanks for connecting me with Litane. I remember Marsha but I don't think Karla was born yet when we visited. I was 8 or 9 so that puts me at their house abt. 60/61. I remember going twice to Menard.
You are right abt. Karl, he was energetic & sweet. He was just a little tiny thing. He wanted to show us how to ride a horse & he did. He just ran & jumped on that huge horse.
Anyway, thanks again.
By the way who are Bill, Jean, Jim & Jay? Jack, Jane, John & Susan Landers? Those are some names on Christmas cards with pictures.

Thanks,
Tammy

Hi, are you related? My uncle Ralph Landers Hearrell was Litane Brooks Landers cousin. I have a few pics of the kids. I was sorry to hear abt. Karl. He surely was a horse riding kid. He was so small but could run and jump on the back of a horse in no time. We kids were afraid he would get hurt but he wasn't scared at all. He seemed like he was literally born to ride. I have been looking for Litane. I have some pictures she probably would like. Since Ralph "Babe" had no children, I think she would like to have his things. His wife recently passed away and I found a lot of his things. The white pages only give partial mailing address for Litane. Just P.O. Box ? and no number. Her picture here is how I remember her. I was 10 when we went to visit them on that ranch you speak of. It was very entertaining and awesome. No lack of something to do there. Great memories.
Email when you can.
Thanks,
