|I'm very much an amateur genealogist. I always knew that I was 5th generation Texan through my father's father's father's father but I came to realize that all 16 of my g-g-Grandparents lived in Texas and 18 of my g-g-g-Grandparents lived in Texas. I'm still in the early stages of understanding how to use all of the genealogy tools available. I appreciate all of the volunteers out there who have added content to this site. I still work full time but I plan to help out as I can, in order to give back to the community. I've found a couple of 3rd Great Grandparents graves which need attention. I look forward to working with others to help with that effort, as well.|

Esther Gwynn daughter of Joseph and Esther Layton Gwynn married Thomas Kinsey. They had 6 kids: Henry, Joseph, Martha, William, Emeline and Mary.
I have a lot of Laytons in My family, but no Kinsey Layton.

I never did get a call back, unfortunatley. I only called once, but can circle back around on this one for you if you like.
|David Sterling May||RE: Re: Photo with Dr. J. H. Clark|
Thanks for your inquiry. I borrowed the pictures of J.H. Clark and, as I understand it, his wife, from another Clark descendant. I copied the photos and returned the originals a few years ago. I am pretty sure that the picture of the woman is of his wife. Dr. J.H. Clark was born in Christian County, KY.
This could well be a picture of your Lydia.
Do you have any information about her that I can add to the listing? I don't see a headstone for her in the listing I posted. His headstone says he died at age 60. Was she much younger? Do you know if she remarried or moved away? (It is also possible that her headstone is still covered by soil.)
Any help would be appreciated.

No problem. I've deleted the bio that said she wasn't his mother! Blessings!!
|Carolyn Davis Bonnet||RE: Susan Palmer - Macedonia|
I made the corrections that you supplied with the exception of removing the son's name of John. I'm not able to remove his name as someone else added her as the mother. You might want to contact that person on his site.

I have added the links for John Lee Palmer's parents. Please verify they are correct.
