Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am passionate about genealogy research, American and World history, and helping others enjoy the same. In order for us to raise the next generation of citizens and leaders we need to preserve and pass on our history.

The focus of my research has been on: 1) Early American Families, (both Native and European settlers alike) who settled places like Jamestown, Virginia, Plymouth and Concord, Massachusetts, and Somerset, Maine; 2) those individuals who would later fight for our independence in the American Revolutionary War, (and later conflicts in the effort to protect this very special country); 3) those folks who would settle the West in places like Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico, Arizona, California, and Oregon; and those more recent immigrants who came to this country under very trying circumstances in order to escape war, persecution, and poverty. I am hoping to run into lost family members along the way in an effort to gather and preserve our family's heritage for our children and grandchildren. I will freely transfer grave memorials to family members who have a vested interest in preserving the memorial with the only exception if the memorial is one of my ancestors. Under those circumstances, I will be glad to update the memorial with any accurate, relevant historic information. I will always promptly respond to inquiries, and correction requests. Upon request, I will freely allow you to use the information, photographs on any memorial I have created, managed, or submitted changes to so long as you reference me as the originator of the research, information, or photograph. I look forward to working with you as we help each other discover exciting information about our families and what role they played in American and World History. In the end all that "trulymatters"-is our families.

Not so far. I drove by and they must have just cut the grass since everything was clean in the fenced off cemetery which is not near Saont Joe NEW Cemetery. I'll keep working on it.

RE: Saint Joseph New Cemetery
I have reviewed the records for Saint Joseph NEW Cemetery.

They do have a record for John O'Neill who is buried in Section WP, Lot 29/30, Range 17.

They have a record for a Celia O'Neill who was buried in 1943.

There is NOT a record for a Robert O'Neill.

Here is the link for their records:

RE: Amos Jones - Madison Bridge Cemetery - Madison, ME
I have added photos for Amos' wife Sarah, Timothy and his wife Sarah.
I don't live in Maine, was just there visiting family, so I won't be able to check anytime soon for the Messer name or for Rachel Young Jones.
I don't remember other Jones' names other than the ones I took photos of, but that doesn't mean I didn't miss them either.
I know the Madison Historical Society has records of these cemeteries if you are able to contact them and maybe they can tell you for sure if they are in this cemetery.
Let me know when the other memorials are up and I will add photos. No rush... :)

RE: Amos Jones - Madison Bridge Cemetery - Madison, ME
I have posted photos for this memorial.
I also found (and photographed) the following:

Timothy B Jones 1809-1888
Sarah P (Timothy's wife)1811-1882
Sarah C (their dau) 1845-1847

Jared W Jones 1848-1931
Mary Weston (Jared's wife) 1850-1910

Ethel M Jones Warman 1887-1913

Are these relatives of the Jones family you were looking for? There are no memorials for these at this cemetery yet.
