RE: Re: Margaret Etta Winchester
Etta died in 1977 according to her memorial. Joe's death certificate named his informant as Mrs. Laverne Shasteen. She was the youngest of the their children, I think. Joe's occupation was listed as a railroad conductor. - dennis

Joseph Austin Cheney
There is a memorial already made for Joe. He is in the Poplar Bluff Cemetery for that city. Let me know what other information that you may need. - dennis

Johnson Arthur C.
A few weeks ago you sent a msg to me on here giving the names of your descendants from Arthur C. Johnson. It seems there wasn't a question, so I am not sure if I asked about your line or you may forgotten to pose a question to me. Either way I appreciate the names and can obtain the other information needed to fulfill the blanks on the line. I try to keep pretty accurate information on my "Kingery Master File" on ancestry.com.
Please let me know if there's something you might need or anything I can do to help further your research of the family.

RE: Re: Margaret Etta Winchester
Thank you. It is good to find additional information for a memorial. If you can give me the name of her husband and locations that they lived, I will try to add that to the family tree at Ancestry. Even her children's names would help in my search. In addition, I will try to find her resting place in order to connect her to the parents. Missouri has fairly good records; however, as I mentioned before, Wayne Co does not have allot of records on-line. Seems that their courthouse burned once or twice. Even though this is a distant side-line on my wife's Tackett families, I am willing to research the Cheney family. - dennis

Re: Margaret Etta Winchester
I have checked the US Census for Missouri again. James and Josephine only had 6 children and 4 that lived. This is according to the 1900 and 1910 US Census. The Missouri Birth Records listed Mary E. Winchester as being born in Bolinger Co on 27 Nov 1886; and I have listed her in the bio on find-a-grave. She appears as Mary E. Winchester in the 1900 US Census for Logan Township, Wayne Co, MO. After this census, I do not find her listed. It is appparent that she married between 1900 and 1910. Wayne Co lacks in some records and is difficult to trace anyone. However, if you give me the name of your Margaret Etta Winchester Cheney's husband and where they settled, I will be glad to do more research on this line. -dennis
