RE: Crosby Family Cemetery
I found it! The stone wall is really impressive and encloses quite a large area. Do you remember were the 2 stones standing side by side? Her stone is still there with a corner broken off, but next to it is a stub remaining where a stone used to be. I did find one other stone that is laying down in very poor shape, I could only make out that it belonged to (another) wife of Oliver Crosby. The whole area would need to be raked to find if there are any other stones present. I'll add a couple photos to the cemetery page and a location. The location usually takes several months to be processed through though. It's a good thing that you took the photos when you were there!

They were haying the front fields today too!

RE: Crosby Family Cemetery
Thanks for the directions. I think I've been to that barn a few years ago. I'll have to try to get up there maybe this weekend to see what I can find. I'll let you know.

Crosby Family Cemetery
Can you tell me where in Atkinson this cemetery is? I have been working to get all the cemeteries in Piscataquis County located with maps. I have never heard of this one, but it looks like quite a small one. Thanks for your help.
