I am no longer able to drive to so many cemeteries within a 100 miles radius as gas prices are too high.

Currently I am researching the Fenimore Family History where they lived in Pratt, Kansas. Robert Williard Fenimore born 6/20/1905, died Aug 1975, was married to Lela Lottie Lester, born Nov. 6, 1914, died in Feb. 13, 1950. I believe his father was a James Fenimore abt. 1868 and Mother Myrtle Fenimore abt. 1878. Had two sons, Robert Willard Fenimore Jr., Tommy Lester Fenimore and a daughter Joan Fenimore-Banta-Wayman.

The other family I am researching is Norman Franklin Brooks from the Cleveland, Ohio area.

Yes, Joy, all of those are my relatives also. John William is my Great-Grandfather and Josephime is his daughter. Are the cemeteries very far apart? When My GGfather died, my GGmother was pregnant with my grand dad, who was born in Oct of 1902 in a wagon on thier way to Oklahoma being led by her father and his two brothers. So all the Copes,Swaffords, Carrolls and Blackshears are related to me, and I think there are others. I'd love to visit the cemeteries, but unable to at this time. What history society is on your area, or what county courthouse should I contact?? I appreciate your help greatly!

RE: Fay, MO Cemetry
Joy,
That will be just fine. All of the graves bearing the Cope and Swafford names are my family, which all resided there in the area before moving to Oklahoma in 1902. I am very interested in any leads or help you could help me with in locating further photos or information about these two surnames. Thank you.
Gratefully,
Susan (Cope) Hill-OK
