You have a memorial for abbie Knox who died 1909. Are you a descendant?

hannah & edward moore

I posted a picture of the headstone of Hannah (meager as it is) but I could not find one for Edward.

You may want to contact Allegheny Cemetery for a plot map. It will tell you where he his buried and if there is a headstone.

If there is anything else I can do for you let me know.

RE: Martha Armon Jenkins
The following info came to me from another contributor:

In the LAncaster History she was wife of David Jenkins, and her maiden name was ARMON from Pequa. See pages 689-700 of the book by Ellis and Evans, pub 1883. They connect to Jacobs lines 1 or 2 generations later.

Her will abstract:
JENKINS, MARTHA Caernarvon Twp.
January 14, 1802 April 34? prob 24, 1802
Children: William, David, Robert and Martha.
Grandchild: Martha Krider (parents' names not given).
Ex.: William Jenkins.

Here is David's will abstract:
JENKINS, DAVID Caernarvon Twp.
March 27, 1797 July 1, 1797
Wife: Martha Jenkins.
Children: Robert, David, Billy, Rebecca wife of William Wilson,
Margaret wife of Lewis Kreider, Martha and William.
Ex.: Robert and David Jenkins.

In the Bangor church history, this info is given about her:

daughter of Robert Armous and granddaughter of Robert Gault, who emigrated from Ireland to Salisbury Township about 1710. d. Apr. 9, 1802, aged 63 yrs.
David Jenkins was Col. 10th Batt. Lanc. Co. Militia 1777, Pa. Arch. S 5, v 7, p 974 - 975 - 991. Pa. Arch. S 6, v 11, p 218. He was an original Trustee of old Pequea Presbyterian Church.

Hope this helps.. we created the memorials from the church cemetery listing. They share a large box tomb. We don't have a photo of it.
