Oops, forgive me. I thought when I saw that you had left flowers on the Maxey grave and that your name was Maxey that you were probably related to them and might find the story interesting.
Sorry for the confusion.
This will sound somewhat strange but thought I would pass it along since I saw your name Maxey listed on the Find A Grave site for
I bought a milk bottle today at an antique shop in St. Joseph IL. It says Roth's Dairy Fresh Cottage Cheese on it.
Inside the bottle was a hand written note that says "This bottle was in the attic of Raleigh (Rolla?) and Iva (Offenstein) Maxey at Harmony, Jefferson county, Illinois. They passed away in February, 1984".
Not sure but thought you might find this kinda interesting.

This is an odd question but I noticed your flowers & msg on his memorial page and wondered if he is a relative. I believe he was also married to my GG-Grandmother, Rebecca Jane (Fultz) Miller-Cherry (widow of William Cherry) and I'm trying to find confirmations. Just wondered if you might have info you would be willing to share.

I assume you are talking about the photo of the headstone of Rebecca Talulah 'Lula' Pie Bloodworth Phinazee in Providence Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery, right? Just want to make sure. You are certainly welcome for the photo.

Lois, I tried to contact you personally, but your email would not connect. I am Cynthia Thomas Snokhous. My grandfather was H. F. Meier, Sr. But, on my father's side, we have a Maxey connection. Are you the same Maxey who left notes on the Thomas gravesites, also.
