Bio and Links
Bio Photo My paternal grandmother inspired me to research our family trees.

Growing up she told the story of a steamboat captain on the mississippi river that brought his family to Texas via wagon in 1872 from Missouri. That was my grandfather's great-grandfather Captain Samuel Atchison. Since the inception of my research, I have met so many amazing Atchison relatives.

My goal is to some day have all information verified and have created the family tree linking children to their parents and siblings via Find-A-Grave.

In the process of memorializing those that have come before me, I hope to help others in their search.

God Bless!

Leddy-O'Quin Family
Hello: I noticed Jean transferred James Leddy in the Marlow Cemetery over to you. Are you related to him? I am related to his wife, so just curious if we were kin? :-)

RE: Guthrie
I've had a couple of Guthries these last few days, Rose, Ruth and Edna. If you are referring to Edna - there is one Edna Guthrie in the Cypress location - year of death 2003. Could she be your Edna? Kathy

RE: Lulu
Dara, If you would like a copy of the original photo of Lulu's headstone I'd be glad to provide. Just add me to your email list so it will not be lost to junk mail.

Lulu
Dara, I have transfered Lulu to your care. It was just by accident that I photographed her stone while at Adora. That cemetery is also home to my GG-Grandfather. It is little more that an unkept cow pasture with a few trees. Hard to find. No doubt Lulu would not be in pictures or a bio as she lived only 8 days. I'd bet it has been a long time since a relative laid eyes on her stone. If someday you would like to visit Adora I can supply directions. Sam Steele

TALKING STONES
Lillie Belle Atchison Forrester
I came across a page you are taking care of. I think you must be a relative since you have the Atchison name. This is a distant cousin of mine. I found her in my descendency of the Hollingsworth family. Her husband Riley Monroe Forrester is the son of William Embrie & Argin(Nichols)Forrester. Can you tell me your connection to them?
