Hello, there are records of a John Hire in Van Wert Co. marrying 1) Mary Pollock on 10 Jun 1841 and 2) Mary Wortman on 1 Apr 1849. Do you know if this is the same John Hire and if the marriage to Mary Wortman was a second marriage? The marriage records I've found do not give ages or parents' names.
I wanted to say thank you for trying to locate William Harris' grave. I appreciate the effort :) Sincerely,

wow... are you related to William Luther Arnett and his family too? WL Arnett was my Dad's great-uncle, and he has a very interesting story as the founder of the Cleveland Coca Cola Bottling and later Columbus Coca Cola Bottling Co's... An amazing person. He gave my dad (oddly, he and Uncle Will had the same birthday) his first job out of high school and was responsible for my dad's initial successes in life. "Uncle Will" as he's always been referred to in my family, is a legend, and one of the finest persons. I just wish I had been able to meet him. He passed 4 years before I was born, however I do remember visiting Aunt Vera in Columbus a couple times from our home in Indiana...

I just saw your message and will send the memorial of Uranah
Hire to you.
Only other alternative I can think of is this was a son of Joseph & Bly - the father Joseph not being buried here at all and the mother incorrectly linked as spouse.

How can you go and take a photo of Georgia's grave at Johnson Cemetery, and not have a name on it, and then I can take a photo today, and clearly see a name on it? Simply amazing!!
