RE: cordes morano steinmetz families
Hey,
I don't know who John's brothers were, don't know much about his family except after he got here. I will be sure and let you know if I do find something. Sure sounds like it, doesn't it? My g-grandmother Cordes married a Morano.
And nice to meet you.
Cheré

Hi Cheri Gary Campos said that you might help know if John Cordes is a brother of Frederick Clouit Cordes and his brother Charles henry Cordes. Frederick married to marie Bock and Charles to Mary Sylver John's daughter married into the Morano family. And the in-laws to my gggrandfather Henry Bock (the Steinmetz's) were married to Marie Virginie Morano ( Christoval's daughter) Thanks Joe Craven

Louise Gai

Hello Joe,

Louise Gai would be my 1st. cousin 2 times removed, as I have it. Her mother would be my great grand Aunt.

Would you be so kind as to email me directly at cjl4@comcast.net with your email address?

Thanks,

Cliff

RE: bourgeois family
HI Joe,

Thanks for the informative reply, I would enjoy speaking with you by phone, send me an E-mail at Nomofilm@bellsouth.net and I will send you my phone number or send me your number with the best time to call and I will call you.

By accident I did look over your information at the Historical Society a couple weeks ago, but I can not understand French.

I knew Vital quite well, we went to school together about 12 years, Vital and I are related as well as are you and I, but we are more distant, Maximilien Bourgeois was one of my great grandfathers.

This is a very informative site, I hope you enjoy it, I have both gotten and added a lot of information to this site, thanks again.

Bourgeois History
Hi Joe,

I am a relative to Oscar Francis Bourgeois living in Waveland and would enjoy hearing more from you. Currently, I am working on the History of every Bourgeois who ever lived in Hancock County, I would enjoy hearing from you.

RE: bourgeois family history
Joe, Thank you for the info. I am already a member of the geneanet.org and often use it. It is a great site. I am also a member of the Hancock County Historical Society, so I am most happy to hear about your donation of the succession of Nicholas C. Bourgeois. Katrina taught me a valuable lesson about preserving our family history. So many people lost so much of their family history gems. One of the first things I did was head down to the Waveland Cemetery with my husband who had a pass and could get through, I needed to see the stones were still there. In fact when Katrina hit I had the Biloxi Library's copy of The Ladner Odyssey checked out and with me at all times. I felt I was the guardian of the dang book until I could return it, haha. I would love to hear more about your family line. I too have been working on these lines for over 20 years and would love to see how we may be related. Feel free to contact me at my email address milyla87@bellsouth.net
