Welcome to findagrave! I'd like to suggest a couple of things to you. First of all, on the left side of the page where it syas "Help with Find A Grave" has a lot of good information on how things work on this web pages.
Secondly, when you send edits such as parents, here's a copy of how I sent an edit last night:
Please link to parents, Rufus Burns (46592292) and Dollie Burns(46592272).
This way the person can cut and paste the memorial numbers to the place on the memorial where they're needed. Also note that I state exactly what I want done. Usually, when I receive an eidit with the parents names asking me to link them (withoiut the numbers), I just delete the message. Whenever you want an edit be sure that youi include all of the information so that the person receiving the edit doesn't have to hunt for it.
