Hi, my name is Diane Zoulek and I have been dabbling in my family tree for about the last 7 years. I retired in October of 2011 and now have more time to spend in genealogy. My family all comes from Poland, Austria-Hungary and the Slovak Republic. I have just about exhausted all the resources I can find as far as getting more information for my own family tree, so decided to spend my free time (I am divorced and my children do not live near by) helping other people get information on their ancestors. I have always been fascinated with old cemeteries and enjoy taking pictures for Find A Grave. When I do go out on a photo request, if there are other family members buried nearby, I always take photos of those markers too. If these people do not have memorial pages, I start a page for them with the photo that I have taken. I will always agree to transfer management of these pages to anyone interested. My photos may all be used on any other sites.|
Good luck searching for your family!!!

You were good enough to take the picture of tombstone for his mother Ora Belle Williamson would you go back to Grandville Cemetery and look
for Elmer H. Thomas her son?
Hopefully, he is buried near her.

I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to take pictures and add to this site. It's a very helpful site for Ancestry, and I've found lots of info here. And thank you for letting us use your pictures too. I do also credit the source and site when given permission to use them. Thank you for your hard work.
|MaryK||Photo requests for St. Pats, Bay City|
I was unable to fill these requests because the office lady is very unhelpful about locating graves. She hates a list so I have found it easiest for the individual who is requesting the photo to find out the location. I have an index of existing tombstones that some nice ladies did for the Bay County GENWEB but that's for the old St. Pats where most burials are from the early 1900s. Sorry!
Neither of the people you requested appear on the tombstone index so there's probably no stone.

|Petra Van den Berg||grave Henrietta M. Dikmans|
Thank you for the photo of her grave. She is one of the familymembers who emigrated from the netherlands in 1888 (I think). She is the sister of one of my ancestors. So great. I do not know the relatives of her.It touched my heart looking at her grave.
She had a daughter she lived with in grand rapids (Henriette Huizenga), who also died. Maybe i ll find her grave also - and can get in touch with her relatives.

|Gail Rissi Thomas||Life Story of Lydia McGowan|
My husband is the 2 x great grandson of Lydia McGowan. His great aunt, Aileen Zander, before her death gave us many photos of the Dietrich family and Lydia was quite a fan of having portraits taken of herself. I am not computer savvy, but will be glad to share and eventually hope to get my husband to post all the photos on ancestry. I have shared a lot of Aileen Zander's memories on Lydia's life story attached to the Christle Thomas Tree, where Lydia can be found. There is much more information about her and the Thomas and before her marriage, the Dietrich Family that I will be glad to share if someone is a descendent and interested. You can email me and Pollyagain@aol.com, and I would be happy to talk by phone, as due to some health problems, my typing is limited.

You are doing excellent work on Find a Grave! No need to change a thing! I make my share of mistakes as well. :-) I am so grateful this is a cooperative site and we can work together.
I have entered large chunks of Woodlawn and Greenwood cemeteries over the past two years and am now looking at death certificates and adding information and links. That's why I see your photos so often. I can't tell you how much I appreciate those photos. I don't live in Grand Rapids but my husband has relatives in both those cemeteries.
Please don't think I'm picking on you, I annoy everybody equally. :-)
Looking forward to more of your wonderful photos, Judi

Please check 120186326. I believe you have the wrong family monument photo on the page- Landwehr. Will you replace the Landwehr photo with the Jonkman monument from his parents' pages?
The individual marker is correct- Jay Milan.
Thanks for all you do for Find a Grave.
