I am a California native enjoying my retirement time here in Southern Oregon. I have always been fascinated with cemeteries, specifically pioneer cemeteries since I was a child. A quiet walk in a cemetery with my camera as my friend is my new passion. I love doing genealogy, so it's a natural pairing!|

Thank you so much for taking a photo of Mrs. Hockett's grave. She was our next door neighbor when we moved to Grants Pass when I was four (1958) and was a treasure from my childhood. I do plan on adding more info as I find it. Thanks again.

I know James is a common surname, but my hubby's grandmother was a "James" out of Indiana. Where was you family from?
