| Bio and Links | I have spent the last eight years researching my Sawyer, Johnson, Peterson, Ulrichson, and Weber ancestors. My mother was Minola Johnson. She married Harold Weber. I have much information on these families. I have my mother's photographs and would be willing to share them with family members who would like to have copies. Many of these ancestors were at one time living in Livingston Co.,Ill. Documentation for my research is from Church records, census, etc. I have had contact with several other family members who are also researching these families and we have been able to combine our research results. It is quite extensive. The research on the Johnson's goes back to Norway. Martha Sawyer immigrated to America when she was a widow. All of her adult children also came to America.

 | RE: Marilyn and Donal Sullivan photo Hello Arlene, you are very welcome for the photo of the gravemarker for Donal & Marilyn Sullivan. I know what it is like not being able to travel and do on site research and photos. I'm happy to help those who can't get to Portland, Oregon. By the way, you have the same first name as my maternal grandmother. Family also caled her Arlie.

 | Elmer Peterson Hi Arlene: I have posted the other photo and even after sharpening the image, playing to brightness and contrast, it still doesn't show up well at all. It will look alittle better if you go into the photo tab, but not great. That is why I took the angle shot, because then the writing gets a different lighting and shows up much better. I take the long shot, not so much to read the stone, but so the family can see what a beautiful area their loved ones grave is in. This cemetery really is quite beautiful and over 100 acres in size. I was so quick in getting the photo because you happen to post your request with the grave location when I had already planned to go. I usually go to the cemetery about twice a month. I've been working on photographing headstones there for 2 years, and have completed 5 sections. The office doesn't like findagrave volunteers, so I figured I would post memorials and photos and cut down on the amount of requests that come in that way. It has helped and many, many relatives have found their loved ones over the last 2 years. Glad I could be of help finding your loved one. ChrisAdded by Macso on Jul 19, 2012 11:03 PM | | | Macso
 | Elmer Peterson Hi Arlene: I took the photo of Elmer today. However, I had to take an angled shot of the headstone to get the writing to be legible. The straight overhead photo was not able to be read well at all. I can post that one too, it's up to up. ChrisAdded by Macso on Jul 19, 2012 10:06 PM | | | Judy Rodriguez

 | RE: Graceland Cemetery photo It's not a problem. Find-A-Grave always adds the best cemetery photo it has to every memorial page. When I uploaded that picture, I automatically gave Find-A-Grave the rights to use it wherever they deem it appropriate. (And I live in IL, too.)
