|I live in Brunswick,MD Frederick County) but am California native. My mother's maternal side of the family came from Tennessee (via Switzerland and then Fredricksburg,VA.) My mother's paternal side came from Ireland in 1619 through Chesapeake Bay, Three brothers (named Collins)...one went north toward Cumberland then on to Iowa, one went south to Frederick,MD and then Loudoun County,VA and one returned to Ireland to home in Cork City, County Cork. The Collins continued to marry Irish and my mother and some of her cousins in Iowa are last of the Collins. The brother on my grandmother's side who came through the MD area was Jacob Foucks/Fouck/and then later Fudge. Name changes during the Civil War. There's a large cemetery of Fudges in Breedsville, TN.but there are land records, etc when the Foucks were in Frederick County area.|

I found his stone, and photographed it. It was hiding behind his wife's marker, which is propped up against it. As I said in a separate message, I think his death year is 1873, not 1893.

I do have some records for the Old Presbyterian Cemetery. In a physical survey done around 1950 Robert Johnson's headstone was still there. I don't know if it still there; many have gone missing since then, and we think that a number have been covered over by a driveway. I'll try and get over there to check if the headstone is still there.

Thank you so much for photographing my ancestors headstone and the church! I wish I could help you upload the pictures but I haven't actually done that yet myself-a project I hope to tackle this fall. I can suggest that you get in contact with Glenn Wallace (you can find him on Find A Grave) and ask him for help. He has taken on the task of documenting and published headstones and portraits for everyone buried in Monocacy Cemetery and is quite the Find-A-Grave master! I'm sure if he can't help you upload the pictures that he would do it for you if you send them to him. You can email him at MonocacyCemetery@gmail.com. Tell him I sent you and that it is a Pyles relative!! ;)
Thanks again for your help!!!!!

Hi Maria, thank you for your work on my behalf. I have only requested Sarah Boone, maiden name Belt, so the other requests came from someone else.
Again thank you for your time and work on my behalf...

Timeline and names sound like they correlate. Thank you so much for the time you have spent on this. I know how time consuming it can be.
