McNeil Cemetery
Cemetery notes and/or description:
Take 25 N from London. Take a right on 490 and then the second right onto State 3094 (also called School St.). Travel a short distance until you reach the 3rd left turn - this is Old Richmond Road. Turn left. Travel less than a mile and you will see a small green sign located on the right side of the road next to a gated field. You can unhook the gate and walk up a short incline through a field to the cemetery. There isn't a good place to park but I pulled over as far as a I could in front of the gate. The small sign is the only notice a cemetery lies beyond the field. You must unhook a gate and trek across the cow patty lined field and up a hill to find the cemetery.

Hello Emily,

Thank you for listing this cemetery.

Did you take photos of every marked grave within?

I have an ancestor with a KY Death Certificate that listed 'McNeil Cemetery' for their burial location.

McNeil Cemetery
Thank you for adding McNeil Cemetery. I live out of state and cannot get there to look at it myself. I will be adding my relatives that I know for sure are buried there. I have a partial listed document that I can send to you via email if you wish. I am working on getting a group of people together to try and help clean up the cemetery but I know it will take back hos and bulldozers. It's a big job.

Thanks again.

union cemetery
Hello Emily. I saw the picture of Ruby Albertson's headstone at union cemetery that you took. Miss Albertson was my sixth grade teacher and I'm goo.g to be in Duluth this coming summer so I thought I'd visit her grave. I googled union cemetery in Hermantown and keep getting the same telephone number as the union cemetery in Duluth. Can you tell me which cemetery Miss Albertson is buried in or are they the same. Thanks so much.

Oak Knoll Geo Bigelow and wf's stone
The adhesive didn't "set" as we were told by the Brick Co, so we'll need to try another "glue". We haven't given up "fixing" stones.

Oak Knoll Geo Bigelow and wf's stone
The bush around Geo Bigelow and his wf was removed. The wife's stone is being glued and hopefully it be upright in a week or so.

Cole sites
Thanks for checking on the grave sites for my Cole family members. I understand how graves can get overgrown if unattended. Thanks for your help.
