Yes, Amys, it was indeed Garth. I am pretty sure it was in the Episcopal Church in Reno Nevada. Thank you for your work. Did you photograph the church or the placque? I would enjoy seeing that, but I imagine I can get it from Fred Winner, a distant cousin.

Dear Amy,
Thank you for your tireless work. Oriel was my father's sister's husband. I can remember him playing our piano, singing Scottish songs. There is a family tradition which says his father died of a heart attack in the pulpit, but that was supposedly in Reno, Nevada. I've never checked that out.
Anyway, I am most grateful for the information you have provided.

I, for one, LIKE the bell tower.... but ..... I will email the next closest relative located near Portland, Oregon to get her opinion.
