My mom states that Mary Elizabeth Henson (McMahan) died of complications giving birth to her last child about 1938.The Henson/McMahan Children were Paul, Geneva, Eliku, J.D, Lowell Jr, Oden, Hubert, and Elmer. Mary's kids were split up. Geneva was sent to her Aunt Elsie "Shorty" Henson Beryhill to live. Oden (Odell) was sent to the Browns (To my understanding were the neighbors). I believe that Jim's Dad (John Henson) might be the brother to Mary...?? Mary's siblings are Earnestine,Clara L., Essie B., John D., Blanche A.(all Henson) Does that sound right to you? What was your mother-in-laws name? And do you know what Annie Elizabeth's maiden was? That info should keep you busy...lol
This stuff is addicting. I have a real strong feeling about this. Well....keep me posted. Meanwhile, I will see what else i can dig up.

Who is Mary Henson?? And do you know if Annie Henson had any sisters? I will talk to my Mom and Aunt and get more info. My mom might be cousins to your husband. My mom' name is Virgin Ann Byrd and She is the daughter of Geneva Byrd (McMahan) and William Byrd. Geneva McMahan is Henson (Her mother is Henson). I truly believe you are related to us somehow. I will definitely get back with you once I speak to Mom and Aunt Mary.( She is Mary Ruth Byrd-Heathcoat.)
