|I am British, married to an American who has raised her children in the United Arab Emirates. |
In looking at my Scottish ancestry I found a BIG GAP so my current mission is to address this and add in some of my own relatives and those of others I come accross.
I also like having grave photos in the tree so hats off to the people that add them.
I have given up on transfers unless there are exceptional circumstances - If you send appropriate content via the Edit system I am happy to update - Be assured anyone can use the EDIT or the photo upload function to add information
Thank you to the thousands of people who have updated memorials entered by me, corrected spellings, linked them to others etc. - Some of the people I get many edits from on a daily basis are:
FINCHES: GREAT job on Lochgelly - Almost 100% photographed!! Bravo
Pat Allan - The Porteous expert
Mentiplay: Stirling worker on many front - Photographing and transcribing and bio-ing!
- Many many thanks to you for the hours of labour expended for the "Greater Good".

Thank you for your information you have shared.
I am looking at my grandmothers branch. I have Coventry and Chalmers. I have found Alexander Coventry grave record through this site died 1944 i believe he could be my ggrandfather.
Apart from a fantastic american cousin who has given so much time and paperwork to the Coventry branch i have little information so any help from anyone is great.
Great to see your entries for the Kidds buried and added to the marble memorials in Newburn, Fife. Are you the cousin who was visited by a Kidd cousin and you sent a copy of Robert Kidd;s journal? Looking forward to hearing from you.

|Arborist||James Calder transfer|
Hope it's O.K. that I transferred my memorial for James Calder to you since you already have a memorial for him in this cemetery. I learned that his body was moved from Montreal, Canada, to Scotland.

Here is the link so that you can sort out the duplicates - hope this helps
I hope you are having nice Christmans - I have just noticed that there are several Holts listed in Westhougthon cemetery but they are duplicated in St Bart's Church Cemetery as well - there appear to be some added in 2013 and again they are the same ones - the churchyard and the cemetery are the same as it is simply as an extension so it depends how near to the church the Holts are - i guess if they are listed in the MIs on the lancs OPC they are in the churchyard cemetery - but there are two of every one -

Sorry, but I think I tried to link Elizabeth to Alexander Shirreffs - 125671438 by mistake. Pleased do not accept. Your Elizabeth is down south where as Alexander and his Elsie is up around Aberdeen, Scotland
Are the Pytchley memorials you have put up in the churchyard or elsewhere?
